The image is  a 10" x 15" Archival print of a Male Wood Duck, matted with an archival mat and framed in a 16" x 20" black contemporary metal frame.

Samuel Kolber's nature photography is successful and worthy of praise when his lens captures the big picture, but the depth of his unique artistry is revealed when he focuses on the details in nature.  His nature photography goes beyond pretty to approach painterly.

He has been the subject of several one-man shows and has been honoured to be included in publications such as the award winning Lorraine Monk book, Canada:  These Things We Hold Dear.
